Ayurveda can turn a frown upside down!

Children are a bundle of joy for every family. Their growing years are the most exciting but also a time when they are most prone to illness and disease. However, falling ill too often can affect their overall immunity, leading to a lot of distress to the child as well as parents.

The most common concerns for a mother about her child’s health include growth, appetite/digestion, infections, memory, agility, and physical strength. Let’s take a closer look at them.

Keep children safe

Cough and cold: The most common symptoms experienced by children include cough and cold caused by different microorganisms. Repeated bouts bring down the immunity of the child leading to a very distressing situation. Children lose out on a number of days from school due to cough and cold symptoms. An average pre-school and primary school child suffers from bouts of 3-8 coughs or colds per year.

Diarrhoea: Infections and contaminated food frequently lead to gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhoea among children. Diarrhoea also considerably compromises the immunity of children.

Constipation: This condition can be quite painful for children. Sometimes constipation is temporary and they get relief in a few days. However, when constipation persists it may have an underlying cause. In the case of chronic constipation, the doctor’s advice must be sought.
